Hi Mono, I noticed on several of the articles you are editing you are leaving two of the same type tag. Example [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Brassboard&action=historysubmit&diff=392153767&oldid=392122502]. I assume it might be by accident so I removed one of the two tags. :Hello. Those are different tags - they look the same though. Thanks, [[User:Mono|<font face="Century Gothic"><small>THE</small><font color="blue">M</font><font color="orange">O</font><font color="blue">NO</font></font>™]] 00:24, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

TIFFs take forever to load, and you should crop it so it's much smaller and leaves out the MBA (which I so dearly want now, although paying $200 for an extra 64GB is ridiculous). But the Apple website seems to use pngs; why not use that instead? /ƒETCHCOMMS/ 03:04, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Those are the "official" press photos and I am too lazy to convert it; anyway, the goal was to get an image up that was accurate. THEMONO 03:29, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Please value the NFCC over the officialness of the images. /ƒETCHCOMMS/ 23:35, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File:MacBook Air October 2010 Promotional Image.png and File:MacBook Air television advertisement (screenshot).jpg

I am not seeing why a free image couldn't be made that provides the same information to the reader as File:MacBook Air October 2010 Promotional Image.png and File:MacBook Air television advertisement (screenshot).jpg. Especially the first one, but even the second one could be restaged. Angus McLellan (Talk) 10:31, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, it could not. How would you get

  • the exact MacBook Air shown
  • the exact person's hand
  • the exact envelope?

We want to be accurate; it would likely be a derivative work anyway. The first one will be replaced as soon as:

  • someone publishes an image online
  • I go to the Apple Store

So, that's why. THEMONO 22:54, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

First image violates NFCC. It's whether a free version can be produced or obtained easily, which is yes. So image one needs to go. Image two seems OK; commercial would need more coverage within article to make pic necessary, though. /ƒETCHCOMMS/ 23:38, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Found; please G7 or remove your disputed tag. /ƒETCHCOMMS/ 01:49, 22 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mono, I noticed on several of the articles you are editing you are leaving two of the same type tag. Example [1]. I assume it might be by accident so I removed one of the two tags. Best, --Alpha Quadrant talk 04:34, 22 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
