Good luck
I am taking a short break. Apologies if grumpypuppy was too grumpy. :-/ KillerChihuahua?!?Advice 18:58, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- Puppies are allowed to be as grumpy as they want. In my experience, threats of blocking don't usually calm someone down. The result was unfortunate, but predictable. And since I don't maintain a watchlist, I'll forget about this by... ooo, shiny. -Atmoz (talk) 20:00, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

Need help from wizard
Anyone know what CSS I need to add and where to get rid of the stupid "rate this page" box that is suddenly on articles? -Atmoz (talk) 23:00, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- You could ask on m:Talk:Article feedback. KillerChihuahua?!?Advice 23:27, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- Add the following line of code to your monobook.css (code taken from User:Rockfang/monobook.css):
div.articleFeedback-wrapper { display:none; }
Another interaction ban proposal for Sarek and TT
I have proposed another interaction ban between TreasuryTag and SarekOfVulcan. Since you commented in the last ban discussion that failed to gain consensus I am notifying you of this one. See - Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#Propose_interaction_ban_between_TreasuryTag_and_SarekOfVulcan_2. Cheers.Griswaldo (talk) 22:02, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
Flipped opinion
I appreciate your reversal on the interaction ban discussion. Thanks. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 16:43, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
Thanks re global warming article
Thanks for working on that one... I can imagine you grumbling about new editors, but kindly just plowing thru some of my worst oopsies, plus you cleaned up older writing (before me) that I wanted to work on to. For both reasons, thanks for taking time. I may bring up substance of some of the changes for discussion on GW:Talk, but overall the article is much improved due to your work on top of my additions. Vandalism
Hi, can I just clarify that your revert earlier labelled my edit as "vandalism" mistakenly? Thanks, ╟─TreasuryTag►voice vote─╢ 20:40, 10 June 2011 (UTC)
- This user talk page is a drama-free zone. You're looking for WP:ANI. -Atmoz (talk) 20:46, 10 June 2011 (UTC)
Popcorn
Hello, I have reverted your change to the article Woods Coffee because of a discussion at the content board regarding the locations, resulted it in being unnecessary and promotional. Another editor on the article's talk page also agreed my edits were correct. Please check the talk page before making any reverts/edits to articles in the future. Phearson (talk) 23:43, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
- No one agreed with you on the article talk page. One person kind of agreed with you on WP:CNB but (I would say) also agreed with me. Your edit has no basis in policy, so I reverted it. Cheers, -Atmoz (talk) 19:46, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
Directions near the Poles
Thanks for your input here: Wikipedia:Reference desk/Science#Directions near the Poles.
I would appreciate if you would look back at that section. As I explain there, I'm puzzled as to whether I'm off-base or the NOAA page is somehow wrong.
Also, having had a watchlist throughout my involvement with Wikipedia, I would like to know why you say: "This user does not maintain a watchlist, and neither should you."
This page is now on my watchlist, at least until I learn why I should not have one, so if you reply here I'll see your reply. Thank you very much. Wanderer57 (talk) 00:06, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
- On the North Pole question, I think others have adequately answered at RDS. If not, the best place to seek clarification is there. But briefly, there are an infinite number of ways to set up a coordinate system to measure wind direction on the Earth. The fact that we do so relative to the North Pole is simply convention. If you're close to the poles, it may be easier define a coordinate system relative to 0N, 0E, but I don't think anyone actually does this.
- Regarding the watchlist, I think they lead to people becoming too focused on specific changes to a page instead of the article as a whole. Also, they tend to promote ownership and battleground issues on contentious articles. While they may be useful for watching user talk pages, I find it easier to simply not have one. -Atmoz (talk) 19:57, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
