Synopsis
The story is about a Maine Journalist who is murdered in New York City. When the New York Police Department abruptly dissolves the investigation forcing a private firm hires their own detective to look into the mysterious murder. Though a work of fiction, the plot points of the story revolve around actual facts and some of America's darkest secrets.

"The Balance of the Seventh Column" was written in 2005 by Eric Norcross and is the first installment of three novels that will be released through 2008.
